Conspiracy Worlds
Verschwörungswelten · 3 × 45' documentary series
Since the pandemic, conspiracy theories have moved from the fringes into everyday public debate. Conspiracy Worlds is a character-led documentary series that follows the people who create, spread and believe three of them, and asks what happens when those narratives turn into real-world action.
Directed by David Moya and Erika Otto, the series is a Dor Film and ORF co-production, made with the support of VAM. It premiered on ORF 1 in January 2022, where the opening night reached 918,000 viewers, and was later broadcast by ZDF in Germany.
